Here are some of the costs you should be aware. In my case:
- Building Permit (Licenca de Construcao): €2572.36
- Water Supply Meter for construction: €47.86 (SMAS)
- Electricity Supply Meter: not yet available (EDP DISTRIBUICAO)
- Guarantee: €5060 this is a guarantee that the council (Oeiras) demands in order to rebuilt anything of the public domain that you have damaged after the construction is done - if nothing is damage it's returned in full, €10 per m2.
